This project with penguins is a profound and visual reflection on the climate crisis. I have used the traditional techniques of oil painting to create paintings that portray the penguins often in a new situation and tell stories about the threatening consequences of climate change on their basis of existence.

Each painting in the project is carefully constructed using vivid colors, textures and details that show the penguins in different scenes and situations: for example, they can stand on small blocks of ice that slowly melt away under their feet.
