Vegetable oil extracted by simply pressing roasted flax seeds and then clarifying and purifying them using natural processes.
Raw linseed oil is a drying oil, meaning it tends to solidify over time (drying). Unlike boiled linseed oil, it has not been subjected to heating (polymerization, which increases its viscosity and shortens drying times), and therefore has a low viscosity, high penetration, excellent transparency and clarity, and a light yellow color.
Because of these properties, raw linseed oil is used in paints as a binder for pigments in the manufacture of oil paints.
Furthermore, it has been shown that this oil, by hardening together with the colours, gives them the greatest resistance to time and climatic conditions.
