Emerald green 60 ml
PG7
This emerald green is a unique innovation of the older arsenic-containing emerald green. The pigment is Phthalocyanine Green , which is a strong blue-green shade of exceptional intensity and transparency.
This color arose from 1930s research into synthetic dyes, a spin-off of the industrial launch of Phthalocyanine Blue in 1935. It was first sold commercially around 1938 as a potent, lightfast, and stable alternative to toxic, older green colors such as the arsenic-based emerald green.
Safer and stronger: The color offered superior intensity, duration and versatility and became a major advancement.
Beautiful turquoise colors: Mixed with Titanium White, it creates the most vibrant, opaque, and pure turquoise colors.
Natural Green Shades: When mixed with earth tones like Burnt Sienna or yellow ochres, it instantly tones down to rich, deep olive greens and luscious landscape colors.
Velvety black shades: If you mix it with a transparent dark red like Magenta, the colors cancel each other out and create a deep, chromatic black that is far more vibrant than regular Ivory black.
